COVID Safety Protocols
THE OPEN BOOK EVENTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN PERSON WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING PROTOCOLS IN PLACE.
The health and safety of our audience and artists is our top priority. In the interest of reducing exposure to COVID, all attendees must present proof of vaccination to enter. Proof can be via a physical copy or a photo of your vaccination card, electronic record of vaccination via a medical/pharmacy app, or email of vaccine proof which includes name and date. In all cases the name must match that on your photo ID.
As part of this, please bring and plan to wear a mask in the auditorium when seated unless otherwise exempt from wearing a mask due to a disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (42 U.S.C. 12101 et seq.). We will follow the current Pasadena’s Department of Public Health’s protocols at the time of the event. The following are prohibited: masks with exhalation valves; masks made of loosely woven fabrics; scarves, buffs, bandanas, and face shields alone (inadequate protection).
