Charles Yu is the author of four books, including the novel Interior Chinatown, winner of the National Book Award for Fiction, a finalist for the Le Prix Médicis étranger, and longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence in Fiction. His other books include How to Live Safely in a Science Fictional Universe, which was a New York Times Notable Book and named one of the best books of the year by Time magazine, Sorry Please Thank You and Third Class Superhero. He received the National Book Foundation’s 5 Under 35 Award and was nominated for two WGA awards for his work on the HBO series, Westworld. His fiction and non-fiction stories have been published in several publications including The New Yorker, The New York TimesSlate, and Wired.

Ben H. Winters is the author of ten novels, the most recent of which is The Quiet Boy, to be published in the spring of 2021. He is also the author of the novel Golden State; the New York Times bestselling Underground Airlines; The Last Policeman and its two sequels; the horror novel Bedbugs; and several works for young readers. His first novel, Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters, was also a Times bestseller. Ben has won the Edgar Award for mystery writing, the Philip K. Dick award in science fiction, the Sidewise Award for alternate history, and France’s Grand Prix de L’Imaginaire. His writing has appeared in Slate and in the New York Times Book Review. He also writes for film and television and was a producer on the FX show Legion.
